Duties: In this position you will assist in the day-to-day management of a self-storage facility while remaining in compliance with all state and federal laws.

Job duties include:

• Show and rent units, and assist customers with unit selection.
• Answer phone, make phone calls and respond to inquiries.
• Process payments, make delinquency calls, and note account files.
• Maintain accurate rental agreements and complete customer files.
• Use computer software, print and interpret reports.
• Perform light maintenance such as cleaning units, pulling weeds, sweeping, mopping and minor repairs.
• Daily walk throughs and security checks of the property.
• Follow opening/closing and daily operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate cash drawers and balance financial transactions.
• Work closely with the Property Manager to achieve business goals.

What we require from you:

• Valid state issued driver license
• Reliable transportation

• Must be available to work weekends

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to conduct physical maintenance work, both outdoors and indoors
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

Desired Requirements:

• 2+ years of customer service excellence
• Adept time management and communication skills
• Self storage management preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
