As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living. We will look to you to take initiative to find solutions that sometimes require you and the team to be very resourceful. Bring your understanding of task management, leadership and knowledge of project design. Field inspection and assessment work will bring you to the client and project sites to observe and review construction progress.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assists the Project Managers with various tasks associated with project delivery (scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, information management) on multiple project assignments
- Manages project development from programming (Scope to Budget) through completion (Closeout) in accordance with program objectives defined by Jacobs Management
- Assists in meetings and prepares meeting notes.
- Assists in managing budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects
- Reviews and provides comments on consultant and contractor pay applications and change orders
- Attends meetings and assures that meeting minutes during design and construction are issued by A/E
- Manages Hazmat consultant and abatement process
- During construction, responsible for maintaining Jacobs' relationship with Client Principal and staff daily
- Responsible for coordination of all consultant and contractor activity at each jobsite, whether those firms are Client contractors or third-party consultants, contractors or client vendors retained by Client
- Responsible to assure coordination between hazmat consultants/hazmat contractors and base building A/E and base building contractor
- Confirms that the A/E and GC expedite the submittal, review and approval of shop drawings, requests for information and change orders
- Minimum 5 years' experience
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, related Engineering
- Experience in design and task management of K12 or Higher Ed projects preferred
- Experience with cost estimating and services during construction projects
- Proficient in use of Bluebeam, Owner Insite, Prolog, ProjectMates, Procore
