Job Description
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Construction Observation and Testing Assistant Project Manager (COT APM) for our Charlotte, North Carolina office. COT APM's are responsible for field supervision of field technicians, performing observations and testing related to Special Inspections during site work and building construction, and preparation of final reports. COT APM's work with Project Managers to coordinate personnel and equipment, and work with technical experts required to complete the assigned projects.
COT APM's also collaborate with clients, Project Managers, subcontractors and other management entities on issues to ensure requirements are met and that problems are resolved efficiently. Must have the ability to lift up to 60lbs regularly.
Assistant Project Manager (COT APM) candidates should also have:
- 2-4 years COT experience required
- NICET, ICC, ACI or other certifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field a plus (but not required)
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to effectively coordinate projects
- Good driving record, valid driver's license and your own vehicle
