Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager collaborates closely with the Project Manager to ensure the safe, timely, and budget-compliant completion of all projects. This role contributes to the management of various project aspects, including planning, scheduling, and cost control. Strong business acumen, organizational skills, time management abilities, and effective communication with clients and customers are essential.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support in maintaining accurate project schedules.
• Evaluate plans and specifications for coordination and value engineering purposes.
• Assist in managing Request for Information (RFI), submittals, shop drawings, consultant reviews, and permitting processes.
• Create and maintain project logs using reporting software for project management purposes.
• Collaborate with the Project Team and Superintendents to address constructability challenges.
• Coordinate and track all required permits from governing authorities.
• Assist in the bidding and procurement process of materials, services, and scopes of work.
• Aid in setting up field offices and mobilizing efforts for the project.
• Prepare and review subcontractor scopes of work.
• Ensure accurate documentation, control, and monthly forecasting of project costs, including the maintenance of buyout logs, change order logs, and cost reports using project management and accounting software.
• Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.

Education and/or Experience:
• 2-4 years of related experience, including knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, scheduling, and safety procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Software knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project. Familiarity with Procore is a plus.
• Strong organization, time-management, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Consistently meets deadlines and goals while maintaining confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site.
