Job Description
We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager with expertise in steel fabrication and construction to support our project management team. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating and overseeing various aspects of steel construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and execute steel construction projects.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment for steel fabrication.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.
- Assist in preparing project reports and documentation.
- Address any project-related issues and ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Previous experience in steel fabrication and construction is essential.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
