What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry (preferred), architectural sheet metal (ACM, coping, metal siding, flashing), and/or roofing.
- Experience running jobs preferred.
- Must be comfortable with heights, ladders, aerial lifts, and working on roofs.
- Candidates who have leadership skills to run the job site and direct crew. Experience as crew leader preferred.
- Candidates who are hard-working and reliable.
- Candidates who can work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Candidates with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates that can problem solve help determine solutions to issues on sites.
- Broad knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
What You’ll Do As An Assistant Project Manager/Superintendent:
- Supervise numerous work crews on Skylight and Architectural sheet metal jobs.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Train crew members as necessary.
- Assist crews. (as needed)
- Monitor job progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Attend construction meetings.
- Assist in scheduling crews.
- Read shop drawings and blueprints.
- Assist Project Manager with other tasks related to projects.
