Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
- Assist in the development and refinement of project plans, including scope, timelines, and budget considerations.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure all project requirements are clearly defined and communicated.
Coordination and Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between Project Managers, field teams, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project schedules.
- Generate regular progress reports and update project management software with relevant information.
Budget Oversight:
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the project management team to implement and maintain quality control processes.
Client Interaction:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and responsiveness.
- Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Business or a related field.
- Previous experience in an Assistant Project management role, ideally within the commercial construction or flooring industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
