Construction: Field Engineer / Assistant Project Manager

Compensation: (60-90K) DOE

We have openings for an entry level or experienced Field Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to work on various construction projects.

If you don't have project management experience but DO have Construction Management or related experience or training, we can talk!

POSITION SUMMARY:

Position requiring experience or training in general construction, or similar. Report to project management.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities may include:

· Assist in the management of projects

· Work directly with Project Managers

· Communicate and coordinate with owners, Project Managers, superintendents, foremen, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers

· Attend project meetings. Attend and actively participate in regular Construction meetings

· Field survey, estimate, write and provide detailed Scope of Work proposals

· Manage and oversight of man-power and track hours accordingly

· Process and track Submittals, RFIs, T&M, and change orders

· Assist with procuring materials and equipment.

· Research information as required;

· Assist in the preparation of bidding documents

· Process and track project documentation and reports

· Track and submit project daily reports, safety reports, JHAs, etc.

· Prepare project closeout documents

· Responsible for on-site safety and complying with safety guidelines

· Do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience in electrical and communications system infrastructure construction desired.

Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook

Proficient in PDF editing software - Bluebeam or Adobe, BIM or CAD experience a bonus

Ability to multi-task

Candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and willing to come to work.
