Job Purpose/Summary
An entry level position for individuals interested in project management career development intended to support development into a Project Manager, PMO. The APM is supervised by the Director of Projects (DPM).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides clerical and administrative support as assigned to contribute to the Knowmadics Value Delivery System.
- Project Management Information System (PMIS) data entry, workflow processing, quality assurance, and improvement opportunity analysis.
- Assists preparation, attends, and scribes project delivery team meetings as assigned.
- Assists preparation and delivery of project status reports as assigned.
- Develops ability to perform PMBOK Guide 7th Edition Project Management Principles: Stewardship; Team; Stakeholders; Value; Systems Thinking; Leadership; Tailoring; Quality; Complexity; Risk; Adaptability; Change.
- Develops ability to perform PMBOK Guide 7th Edition Project Performance Domains: Stakeholders; Team; Development Approach and Lifecycle; Planning; Project Work; Delivery; Measurement; Uncertainty.
- Develops ability to plan and lead traditional, agile, and hybrid project management approaches.
- Assigned to lead small project delivery teams at the discretion of the DPM.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
Preferred:
Undergraduate Degree
- Knowmadics Background Check
- Prepared to build skills to perform PMBOK Guide 7th Edition Project Management Principles, Project Performance Domains, and traditional, agile, and hybrid project management approaches.
- Can work independently in a fully remote environment with minimal direct supervision.
- Can proficiently use all tools required to work in a virtual environment, including Microsoft, Atlassian, Apple, and Android products and services.
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate globally dispersed customer needs.
Working conditions
Should be willing to work in a variety of settings as needed, including nights and weekends.

Physical requirements
Prolonged periods of remaining in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer.
