POSITION SUMMARY:  
The Juvenile Justice Services Division (JJSD) is responsible for the effective administration of juvenile justice programs for delinquent and incorrigible youth in coordination with the juvenile courts. We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented individual to provide advanced administrative and technical support to the Contracts and Monitoring Unit of the Juvenile Justice Services Division.  Under general direction, this position supports the procurement functions, contract administration and compliance activities for Contractors delivering intervention and treatment services to statewide probation referred youth under the Juvenile Probation Services Fund (JPSF).  This position also participates in a support staff pool by providing assistance with general office duties to various staff in the division. 

This position is also responsible for contract preparation and coordination with hotels and transportation agencies pertaining to conferences, committees, meetings, and/or site visits; maintains tracking systems for receipt, preparation and distribution of complex documents including executed contracts, contract performance, contract renewals, contract rates, provider contact lists, monitoring activities, amendments, and attachments; and inputs data and maintains contractual information in the Juvenile Treatment Database and produces queries as needed to be reviewed for accuracy. In addition, this position assists in the formatting and final publication of reports, training documentation, contract manuals and materials relating to contract and monitoring activities; reviews for accuracy the daily report query electronically submitted by the technology department from the JTX database to ensure accuracy of contract records; and performs a full range of support for meeting needs including calendaring, scheduling, room set-up, reception, coordinating meals, preparing meeting documents such as handouts, agendas, and/or presentations, and compiling meeting minutes.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will hold a High School diploma or GED, four years of increasingly responsible office experience, and possess thorough knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products. This position requires the ability to interact effectively and professionally with AOC staff, contract providers, community members, and court personnel to provide information, support, and assistance; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and excellent attention to detail. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to establish and effectively organize multiple work projects and documents simultaneously; be able to prioritize workload and work independently with a minimal supervision; function effectively in a team environment; and maintain confidentiality.

The preferred candidate will have familiarity or aptitude to gain working knowledge of electronic-filing system and scanning processes and to learn new software or database systems; and/or knowledge of the Arizona court system and/or experience in the regulatory or legal field.
