Americano and Cala are joining forces to open Tell Your Friends, a swanky new underground cocktail and live music lounge in north Scottsdale that will open Spring 2024
Accessed through a side door at The Americano, guests of Tell Your Friends will enter a dimly lit vestibule enhanced by dramatic floral wall-coverings and a black-tile accented staircase that leads to the intimate lounge. Upon the descent, the space begins to come to life as the venue reveals itself with rich maroon velvet drapes, mirrored walls and fanciful lighting. As the curtains are drawn, the focal point emerges – a captivating bar adorned with floor-to-ceiling lights that seamlessly trace their way across the ceiling, creating a dazzling connection to the adjacent stage. The lounge will host nightly performances featuring talented vocalists, musical acts and entertainers who will be inspired by classic sounds while performing anything but the ordinary.
The cocktail-driven menu will feature a seasonal rotation of classic and craft cocktails, an exceptional wine list and small bites. For guests who can’t resist the allure of the acclaimed pasta, steak and seafood offered upstairs at The Americano, special arrangements can be made to satisfy most cravings.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the establishment, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Work along side a bustling Italian Steakhouse to achieve collective goals
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction by maintaining a positive and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of banquet and catering events.
- Conduct interviews, hire, train, and evaluate staff members.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to create menus, plan events, and ensure efficient food service.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality.
- Experience in fine dining, bar & lounge operations, and nightlife
- Experience in entertainment and live music preferred
- Craft cocktail experience preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of different coffee blends.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Knowledge of interviewing techniques to select qualified candidates for employment.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles.
