Job Title: Assistant General Manager
Location: Kokopelli Golf Club - Gilbert, AZ
Kokopelli Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of the club. The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee various departments, implement policies and procedures, and ensure exceptional service to members and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of all club departments, including golf, food and beverage, retail, and administration.
- Implement and enforce club policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Supervise department managers and staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback as needed.
- Assist in recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling of staff across all departments.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation to meet financial targets.
- Build positive relationships with guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in member retention efforts and membership recruitment initiatives.
- Collaborate with department managers to plan and execute club events, tournaments, and special programs.
- Ensure that events are well-coordinated and meet the expectations of members and guests.
- Oversee facility maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for members and guests.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors as needed.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote club amenities, events, and membership offerings.
- Coordinate marketing efforts across various channels, including digital platforms, print media, and community outreach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in club management or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of golf industry trends and club operations.
