In this position, you will be required to work closely with the General Manager, Regional Vice President and the Company CEO. The Assistant General Manager needs to have a wide range of organizational, managerial and leadership skills, and experience in all facets of the restaurant industry. As our Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for directing, planning and organizing all aspects of our stores' daily operations. This is a day time job and you get to be home every night with your family!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the restaurant from the administrative viewpoint, including personnel, budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and public relations.
- Hire and train qualified personnel for all of the positions within the restaurant.
- Ensure that all employees follow health department and safety regulations.
- Provide service to guests; ensure satisfaction and moderate complaints.
- Oversee food production and inventory control operations.
- Oversee office management activities including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with other departments: kitchen, dish room, host staff., kitchen support staff and office support staff.
- Supervise accountants while they compile reports on food production and inventory items.
