Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team at the Hotel Canandaigua located in Canandaigua, NY. Candidates must have prior hotel management experience and a passion for delivering superior customer service.

What does the day to day look like?

• Front desk, housekeeping and engineering
• Human resources: hiring, training, coaching and counseling of employees, problem resolution and discipline
• Resolve customer complaints, anticipate potential problems, operational issues, business flow and associate performance
• Prepare forecasts and reports and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring the budget to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
• Assist with the F&B Department whenever needed

Who is our ideal candidate?

• Has Rooms and Overall Hotel Operations Experience for a minimum of 3 years
• Must have previous hotel management experience
• Must have some prior experience providing coverage within Food and Beverage, Restaurants, Banquets and Events
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends
