Form of workCBS Sports is looking for a freelance VOD Assistant Editor to join their team.
This role would be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering VOD Soccer content for Paramount+, CBS Sports App, YouTube & Golazo Network on a daily basis. This includes daily monitoring and review of new content, facilitating and assisting in retrieval of content, screening and editing of content, creation of content metadata, and delivering required digital assets to various platforms in a timely manner. This position is remote and the Assistant Editor must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Digital asset creation and distribution on a daily basis. Basic editing, clipping, and converting of video and still images.
- Process & deliver assigned videos for various platforms.
- Use AI Automated Highlights to post game highlights to YouTube & Paramount+.
- Metadata and thumbnail creation for video assets to be delivered to YouTube, Paramount +, CBS Sports App.
- Conversion, upload, and QC of assigned assets.
- Other such duties as required.
Qualifications
- A knowledge of soccer is preferred or willingness to learn.
- Experience with any of the following software is highly preferred - Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are highly desired.
- Ability to prioritize work and to be a proactive thinker.
- Must be able to work independently and be a strong collaborator.

Hiring Salary Range: $50000.0 - 50000.0.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
