Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Director at our Arlington location. The Assistant Director will play a key role in supporting the Center Director in ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of exceptional educational programs. This role requires a passion for early childhood education, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for both children and staff. You will be back up for Van and cook duties, Complete observations on all staff members on a monthly basis and ensure our teaching staff are fully trained on proper classroom policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Center Director in day-to-day operations and management of the center.
• Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement educational programs that align with the center's philosophy and standards.
• Supervise and support teaching staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Engage with parents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintaining strong communication regarding their child's progress and well-being.
• Contribute to the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff members.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as budget management, record-keeping, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in a Director or Assistant leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, families, and staff.
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and support a team in achieving educational and operational goals.
• Pass a Background and Finger Print check
