We are looking for our next strategic Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. This position will report to the Corporate Controller and be responsible for technical accounting and external reporting, finance special projects, developing procedures to comply with upcoming ESG requirements, and helping to establish automations to enhance effectiveness of the finance function at Teradyne.
This is a hybrid role based out of our North Reading office

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Research accounting and financial reporting requirements and recommend treatment for transactions
- Own external reporting including all quarterly and annual SEC filings
- Help facilitate and interact with external audit team
- Lead or assist in the completion of special projects including ERP transitions, working on potential acquisitions, and the integration of acquired companies.
- Assist with the management and execution of Teradyne’s Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance program.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, investor relations, business leads, and facilities to ensure ESG compliance as upcoming standards go into effect
- Lead automation efforts to improve internal Teradyne finance efficiencies
- Prepare and present Audit Committee and CFO material including key judgments and certain other agreed upon topics
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in public accounting or a mix of public and private
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree. Must be a CPA
- Must have SEC Reporting Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in public accounting or a mix of public and private
- Multinational public company experience in the technology, manufacturing, or industrials industry
- OneStream experience a plus
