JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial statements
- Manage the accounting for our Managed IT Services business, including revenue recognition, cost of goods sold, and billing
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Calculate and process commissions for sales team
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and revenue recognition
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and accounting policies
- Managed IT Service Industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and OneStream
- Experience with commissions calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
