SalaryUnder general supervision, the Sign Language Interpreter provides interpretation, transliteration and advocacy services to deaf and hard-of-hearing clients, makes referrals and provides information as requested. Part- time and PRN interpreters residing in or around (Richland, Ashland, Crawford, Seneca, Huron, Marion, Morrow, Knox and Wyandot counties for assignments in those counties or those surrounding counties).
- Associates degree in interpretation training required; knowledgeable and fluent in American Sign Language, Signed English;
- Valid Ohio Driver's license with acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance.
- Must provide own transportation and be able to work flexible hours.
- Ability to type 60 wpm
- Occasional on call hours may be required.
- Pre- employment drug screen and BCII required
