We are a leading company in the renewable energy industry, seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a VP Sales. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing our company's profitability and market presence by selling our top-of-the-line utility scale solar PV. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent commission structure, and the opportunity to be part of an industry that is shaping the future of energy.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of utility scale solar PV
- Expand team through the US through hiring sales representatives
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales of PV Solar equipment.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with current and prospective clients to generate new business for the organization's products.
- Reach out to potential customers through cold calling, networking, and client referrals.
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations of the latest PV Solar equipment to clients to showcase our products' effectiveness and efficiency.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and create reports on sales activities and performance.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the solar energy industry.
- Continuously improve through feedback and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Utility Solar Sales, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven background of growing and managing sales teams
- In-depth knowledge of PV Solar equipment and a solid understanding of the renewable energy industry.
- Previous Solar sales at the Utility Level
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build productive professional business relationships.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
