Area Representative ASSE International Student Exchange Program
Looking for self-motivated, outgoing, reliable, diverse individuals. ASSE International Student Exchange Programs is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating lifelong relationships with foreign exchange students & American families. ASSE provides semester & academic year exchange programs in the United States for high school aged students (15 -18 years old) from around the World.
As an ASSE Local Representative, you will be making a difference in the world, one young person at a time. This job will bring a meaningful impact to your everyday life and to the lives of many others.
As an Area Representative, you will be responsible for matching of high school exchange students to host families and local high schools. Your tasks include; making sure all paperwork is filled out correctly, meeting with students, families, and schools. Recruit host families and ensure proper screening is completed. Complete home inspections with host parents and students, motivating your team, problem solving, and recruiting. The Area Representative is responsible for ensuring program compliance is maintained and documented throughout the duration of the students stay in the US. The Area Representative is goal focused and ensures regional placement goals are met while upholding the high standards of ASSE.

The Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program provides scholarships for high school students from Europe and Eurasia to spend an academic year in the United States, living with a family and attending an American high school. It is a competitive, merit-based scholarship program funded by the U.S. Department of State.
