Description
The Delta Marriott Orlando Celebration is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individual for the position of Area Director of Revenue Management at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotels In Kissimmee and Orlando, Florida. The Area Director of Revenue Management is responsible for all aspects of Revenue Management in a multi-unit operation. He/She must have the capacity to balance the big picture, strategic perspective with attention to the details of execution. Must be familiar with big box/group hotels and able to work with DOS/Sales team on maximizing revenue. Must be able to forge strong owner management and other stakeholder's relationships. The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with extensive hands-on experience. Marriott Revenue Management systems certification required.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge in both Marriott and Hilton systems including but not limited to GRO, R&I, PEP/OnQ, MGS, HPP, OY2, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Proficient in analyzing Demand 360+ to support revenue decisions.
- Strong Forecasting acumen and success in improving RevPAR in previous markets.
- Familiar with big box/group hotels and able to work with DOS/Sales team on maximizing revenue.
- Ability to perform displacement analysis to maximize profitability.
- Able to identify broad strategies while simultaneously executing detailed tactics to ensure success.
- Analyze and evaluate rate structure and packages to be profitable and competitive in the marketplace.
- Ability to follow Stepstone Hospitality Revenue and Sales SOP's regarding DBR process, pickup meetings, forecasting, etc....
- Management of 3rd party systems and programs which support revenue goals.
- Facilitate weekly strategy meetings and execute tactical strategies to ensure hotel is performing at optimal levels.
- Create and participate in the hotel budgeting process.
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Confidence when leading revenue meetings and representing the hotel during owner discussions.
- Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
- Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.
- Multi-unit Hotel Experience - Minimum 5 years.
- Capacity to balance the big picture, strategic perspective with attention to the details of execution.
- Marriott Revenue Management systems certification required.
