Description:
Under the direction of the LucidHealth Executive Director of Revenue Cycle, and the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), performs those duties involving all aspects of the Revenue Cycle to ensure that scheduling, patient registration, charge capture, billing, and processing of payment receipts are consistently and accurately completed, in a timely manner. This position also works to maximize throughput, increase patient insurance capture, minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, and effectively manage accounts receivables. Responsible for workflows, policies and procedures, and personnel of Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Facilities Revenue Cycle departments. Performs all office procedures assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business finance or related health-care field (Master's degree preferred).
- 7+ years of directly related experience (manager or director in Revenue Cycle, billing and collections).
- Self-starter, strategic thinker & action driven with a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience managing and leading self-pay collections teams.
- Can operate at a granular level while maintaining the bigger picture.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to follow through on projects.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills and an ability to perform well under pressure.
- Excellent working knowledge of healthcare compliance, healthcare/medical billing & Revenue Cycle.
- Radiology Imaging Experience a plus.
- Experience in RIS and Imagine Billing systems a plus.
