- Highly competitive compensation of $150,000 - $180,000, plus bonus potential, commensurate with experience
Director of Revenue Management Job Duties:
- Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process for revenue recognition
- Manage a team of Revenue accountants and analysts
- Work cross-functionally with corporate office and field partners and have the ability to work towards a shared goal
- Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue recognition processes and controls:
- Identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement in the revenue recognition process
- Implementing new technologies and tools to automate revenue recognition tasks
- Streamlining and automating revenue recognition workflows and procedures
- Enhancing internal controls to prevent revenue recognition errors and fraud
- Provide input on the design and implementation of new accounting systems and processes:
- Evaluating the impact of new systems on revenue recognition processes
- Providing feedback on system design and functionality
- Working with system vendors to ensure proper configuration and integration
- Testing and validating new systems to ensure accurate revenue recognition
Director of Revenue Management Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; CPA and/or public accounting background preferred
- Knowledge of the revenue cycle
- Project management skills and ability to multi-task
- Exposure to acquisition transactions (or an understanding of underlying concepts) a plus
- Advanced technical and analytical skills required
- Strong leadership development skills and ability to excel in a team environment
- Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills required
