A/R Specialist

Come join our team! We currently have an open position for a Account Receivables and Payables Specialist to support our team in our North Salt Lake office. We are looking for a talented, driven individual that will ensure the company maintains our financial goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment
• Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
• Performing general bookkeeping duties focusing on accounts payable and receivable, analyzing and processing vendor invoices in Quick Books, reconciling accounts, making bank deposits
• Assist staff with various administrative and data entry functions
• Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder.
• Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.
• Monitors accounts receivable and cash receipt reports.
• Performs other related duties, as required.

Qualification Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred.
• Two years of work related experience required
• Proficient in Word, Excel and QuickBooks
• Integrity, with the ability to maintain business confidentiality
• Previous bookkeeping experience required
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of office equipment, including scanning and document sorting
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Reliable and dependable work ethic
• Highly effective organizational skills
• Team player focused on the success of the team
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
