APS-3: Material Coordinator

The Material Coordinator will:
- Learn the storage plan and perform a variety of warehousing.
- Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.
- Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage.
- Remove material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
- Identify items required per load, inventory, and account for required quantities and take appropriate action to prepare items for loading.
- At times operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret Security Clearance and ma a Secret clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Requires a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires at least 2 years of directly related work experience.
- Must be familiar with staging and palletizing material for loading into containers.
- Must possess a valid State Driver's License.
- Must comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand - between 2 to 3 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk - between 4 to 5 hours per day.
- Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. - 50 lbs. periodically.
- Must be able to squat, knell, bend, reach and climb periodically.
- Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments.
