Applications Development Senior Manager

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.
Duties: Perform implementation of a platform that supports real-time reporting. Liaise with all the asset class business and IT teams and report on their behalf. Partner with firms Reference Data group ISG (SMC/AMC) to onboard market data required for the regulations implementation. Integrate with multiple external vendors (Markitwire/DS Match/ANNA) to ensure appropriate reporting. Collaborate and consult with stakeholders and other computer specialists to gather business requirements and design an optimum software application. Work closely with business analysts for functional requirements and to review requirements, and clarify missing inputs. Participate in requirement discussion with business stakeholders. Understand and analyze data using SQL, HUE, Kibana, and other reporting tools. Create low-level design document, data model, and develop software applications per user requirements. Drive program management aspect of deliverables. Provide technological inputs and technical leadership for the design, development and delivery of product and services. Analyze requirement and create code solutions as per requirement. Develop proof of concept to validate proposed solution to reduce project risk and plan contingency/mitigation actions. Analyze procedural and performance bottlenecks and suggest best practices to remediate the same. Perform unit testing per test plan and test cases and document the test results. Lead the technical implementation and functions as a point of escalation for the resolution of technical matters. Ensure verification of deliverables per quality assurance plans and ensure delivered solution meets technical specification and design requirements. Understand and follow policies and procedures of change management, release management and project governance. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as Senior Software Engineer, Senior Developer, Developer, or related position developing applications and analyzing functional requirements. 6 years of experience must include: Derivative trade flows and system dependencies; Delivery for large scale programs; Alignment of delivery with long term strategy; Partnering with vendors and business stakeholders; and Utilizing Java, PL/SQL, HTML, UNIX, MongoDB, Hibernate, Apache Storm, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Impala, SpringBoot.
