DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support for business applications assuring proper Responsiveness to customers;
- Adhere to IT department strategies, processes, policies and procedures;
- Deliver Tangibles by providing the proper technical support of both internal and external customer facing systems;
- Maintain application stability and appropriate application availability;
- Provide Reliability by interacting with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems;
- Deploy application releases and system configuration changes;
- Maintain beneficial working relationships with internal departments as well as 3rd party vendors;
- Ensure Application Support requests are handled within predefined SLAs both internally and externally. Manage issues from identification through to resolution;
- Contribute input to application and related infrastructure scalability;
- Act as a technical resource for own projects and projects managed by others;
- Contribute to the planning of business application implementation and respective backup plans;
- Work with the training department to design and prepare training relating to applications;
- Monitor applications for performance tuning and related testing;
- Maintain up to date technical and non-technical documentation regarding business applications;
- Represent IT for application and business process related special projects;
- Be proactive in maintaining and increasing personal technical knowledge around bank applications and related environments;
- Log all support interactions in the ticketing system and provide Assurance that resolutions are completed timely to meet current SLAs;
- Provides the best service to our customers with creative and innovative solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative technical experience with related technology;
- Self-motivated, professional, ability take ownership and responsibility;
- Experience supporting applications in complex infrastructures;
- Excellent problem solving skills both proactive and responsive;
- Keen organizational and planning skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to provide Empathy while listening to and understanding inquiries about business application issues;
- Ability to manage projects from concept to production;
- Ability to document and improve business processes;
- Ability to deal with time constraints and strong attention to detail;
- Strong customer service and support focus with a history of delivering a high quality service;
- Flexible in working outside of core business hours at short notice;
- Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required.
