Information specific to this position: People are needed to interpret between English and Spanish for evening meetings and events or special meetings during the school day. Applicants should be proficient in both languages and sensitive to cultural differences. The responsibilities of the Interpreter/Translator are to: 1. Interpret/translate clearly and accurately, conveying phrasing and intention as it relates to the subject. 2. Interpret/translate dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker, understanding that many idioms and slang terms do not translate exactly between languages. 3. Assist with translation (written) communication as needed.

Pay range: $24.41 - $27.34 (min - 12% above min)/hour*
