Application Lifecycle Management Delivery Lead - Senior Manager/Specialist Leader

As a Senior Manager/Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for supporting large complex IT systems - these applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all Cloud and on prem systems. You will work with global functional and technical teams on engagements that leverage a high degree of automation, the latest technologies and cut across support and development work. You will need to understand functional requirements and should be able to support specific technologies, develop technical designs, develop, customize, and test completing the lifecycle from design to ongoing support.

Work You'll Do

As a Senior Manager/Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting, you will provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, processes and systems, developing solutions following established technical design, application development standard and quality processes in projects.  You'll assess the impacts on technical design due to changes in functional requirements.  You'll manage large teams, on and off-shore as well as regular interface with clients, responsible for meeting established metrics, timelines, budgets.   Our projects are large and complex. You will have the technical foundation and knowledge to work with a core group of technology professionals. You will regularly interface with other stakeholder not limited to end-user clients, program managers, business analysts, developers, testers and cross-functional teams.

The Team

Core Technology Operations practitioners work on the design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large-scale, ground-up, custom developed applications, to Cloud-based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector-focused packages. As a member of this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as user interface/user experience development, integration services, business rules engine solutions, or Cloud-based services.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience working with globally distributed technology teams which should include 10+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience managing and delivering large scale systems;
  • 10+ years' experience in application support including "lights on" support services, development and customization;
  • A  solid understanding of the ITIL framework;
  • Current hands-on development skills in at least one of the following:  Java; .Net; Mainframe;
  • 6+ years leading teams responsible for the design and definition of technology solutions;
  • A strong understanding of the fundamentals of software engineering with the ability to successfully articulate technology concepts to both   business and a technology audience;
  • Significant xperience working in a multi-vendor environment and with third parties;
  • 10+ years' experience with programming and software development, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, upgrading software systems;
  • Experience managing large client relationships;
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve;
  • Experience with industry standard System Development Lifecycle Methodologies;
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent;

  • Industry recognized technology certifications - AWS, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.
  • Experience with AI and ML technologies;
  • Experience in an application support environment which should include working in Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure);
  • Master's degree

Wages and Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,725 to $292,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual, and organizational performance.
