Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible to support sales regions with technical expertise and onsite support when needed
- Responsible for one or more topics as a technical expert within the TSN team
- Develops internal training plans and documentation for new and existing TSN members
- Provides technical support and guidance for escalated issues to the TSR team
- Promote and expand the Fronius service reputation in the US PV market
- Participates in trade shows and exhibits providing technical guidance and support as needed
- Supports with information regarding product modifications and future product development
- Providing product presentations and trainings to customers
- Supports customers with system design questions and service calls
- Providing e-mail and telephone support for escalated inquiries and problems Providing customer information to internal databases SP, CRM, Baan
- Continuous feedback and interaction with Sales, TSA's, Product Management in regard to new products, new features, prices, customer concerns, customer satisfaction and competition
- Providing application advice for all Fronius SE BU team members, end customers, distributors, and dealers
- Responsible for proposing solutions to ongoing customer issues within a defined timeline
- Responsible for maintaining an independent schedule when out of the office for field work
- Promote and support the Fronius Way
- Demonstrated ability as a leader and facilitator
Requirements
- Ability to travel and work in the U.S. and internationally if required
- A Valid passport and motor vehicle operator license is a must
- Ability to travel and work within 72 hours of notice
- Strong focus in job safety and health
- Familiar with photovoltaic technology and/or industry
- Three or more years of supervisory experience
- One or more years in a customer service role
Professional Skills and Knowledge
- Acquire basic computer networking knowledge
- Strong technical background and knowledge of electrical Safety, AC and DC fundamentals
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Ability to multi-task and effectively problem-solve
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Proficient in use of ERP and CRM software
- Proficient in use of computer internet for research, education, and professional development
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills
- Work independently or with supervision and achieve established goals and objectives
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills and ability to problem-solve by telephone
- Ability to write correspondence and reports clearly and concisely
- Strong customer service experience
- Strong technical understanding of solar power systems and inverter technologies is a significant asset
Health and Safety
- Must comply with all safety and health standards established by Fronius USA, LLC and federal, state, or local requirements
- Ability to bend and reach, with repetitive motion
- Hearing, naturally or with aids
- Vision 20/20, with or without correction
- Physical demands of the job include: standing, use of hands to manipulate objects, talking, hearing, looking, typing, walking, twisting, and bending
- Employees could be requested to lift, carry, reach above the shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and crouch
- Employees could be required to lift up to 70 pounds
- Employees will perform duties in an office environment and a field setting
- Employees will be occasionally exposed to tripping hazards
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to medium
