Apparel Production Coordinator Needed Asap

We are clothing Manufacture located in Downtown Los Angeles. We are specialists in knits and we work with so many famous brand. We are looking to expand our team and hire a motivated driven candidate that can help us serve our customers.

Main purpose of the Apparel Production Coordinator:

The right candidate will utilize his or her organizational skills to maintain product specifications, communicate with customers, and vendors in the concept through production process. This position will support various aspects of the Design/Development process through close partnerships and consistent communication to ensure the development process runs efficiently. This is a permanent full-time role for a candidate who comprehends deadlines and has strong organizational skills that will thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reflect the customer’s brand and standards through their apparel program.
• Partner with the Assistants to track, unpack, distribute samples and approvals throughout development process which includes support with all TOP check-ins
• Manage WIP reports on a weekly basis in conjunction with production / sourcing team, for all goods on order from production status through final delivery into our warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
• Interact with cross functional team such as Design, purchasing, warehouse, Merchandising, and Transportation/Logistics
• Actively participate in weekly production meetings with cross functional team members
• Daily communication with all vendors as needed.
• Set up vendor sheets, cost sheets for final review / approvals by sourcing team.
• Assist with filing and maintaining fabric and trim binders
• Assist with the factory costing and update cost for Products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-4+ years’ experience in similar role
• Strong knowledge about Fabric and garment development
• Excellent computer skills including Excel and Internet research.
• Speaking both English and Spanish is preferred.
• Solution oriented and critical thinker
• Deadline focused and goal driven.
• Must be able to perform efficiently with tight deadlines.
• Team player and ability to multitask.
