Zeebra Kids is a clothing and footwear brand for kids created with style and comfort in mind. We are known for our elevated and stylish designs carefully thought out to the last detail. As our business continues to grow and expand into other categories, we are searching for dedicated and experienced professionals to join our team.
We are looking for an Apparel Production Assistant who is well versed in Apparel Production and administrative tasks with a passion for fashion. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills to handle vendor and customer service inquiries, is experienced in social media marketing, and has knowledge in the Apparel Production process. This role is crucial to the success of the organization and requires extreme attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to deliver a delightful experience for our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Manage vendor relations including factory communications and freelancers.
- Track and process all samples maintaining sample room organized.
- Measure garments and gather details to prepare for new collection launches.
- Respond to customer inquiries daily and manage escalated requests.
- Collaborate on social media tasks to ensure team is up-to-date on seasonal changes and new arrivals.
- Enter sales transactions into ERP system as needed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in other administrative tasks/projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing or a combination of education and 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong ability to take ownership and execute projects.
- Ambitious, diligent, eager to get results and succeed.
- Computer competency (Microsoft Office Suite, Shopify, NetSuite or similar).
- Fashion design or technical design experience is a plus.
- Well versed in social media management on various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to question issues logically and effectively to identify the root cause of the problem and solve it quickly.
- Engaging conversationalist to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to present and convey ideas clearly, positively, and confidently.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to commute to Staten Island, NY 10314

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 10:00am to 6:00pm and Friday 10:00am to 1:00pm
