The Ohio Department of Development’s Office of Small Business and Global Trade empowers communities to succeed through providing superior quality and innovative program delivery to Ohio businesses regarding small business development, international trade expansion, and government procurement assistance.
The Ohio APEX Accelerator serves as the axis for existing and new businesses to strengthen the government industrial base by accelerating innovation, fostering ingenuity, and establishing resilient and diverse supply chains all while connecting Ohio businesses to government opportunities. Throughout the APEX Accelerators, Ohio is a national leader of developing innovative programs and delivering superior quality government contracting services.
This position will support the Ohio APEX Accelerator in the delivery and execution of its programs while furthering the mission of the Office of Small Business and Global Trade. Specifically, this position will assist the Ohio APEX Accelerator Statewide Manager, support the Ohio Procurement Internship Program, and manage the Ohio Small Business Cybersecurity Hygiene Program.

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, project management, or another related field and/or two (2) years of project management experience or other relevant experience.
2. Proficiency in the operation of a personal computer and related software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
4. Ability and willingness to collaborate in a team setting with both internal and external partners.
