Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees
Have knowledge of Short Term Disability, FMLA and Worker's Compensation claims
Assists in onboarding; new hire paperwork, documentation, orientation, etc.
Reconciles benefits statements to assure employees are properly insured. Checks for discrepancies
Check and verify employee time cards daily
Update HR spreadsheet with current personnel
Assist with processing of terminations
Assists with HR-related disciplinaries
Assists with recruitment and interview process
Updating personnel files
Files employee paperwork and documents
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
The candidate should be extremely time oriented, reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and highly organized. Must be a team player and have outstanding writing, editing, data entry, and proofreading skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects are essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
