Frank Landscape Contracting, Inc., the largest landscaper in Wisconsin is adding an experienced AP Specialist and Accounting Assistant to our Finance Team with at least 2 years of various accounting duties to work with our teams and assist us in delivering quality service to our clients and vendors. Proficiency in excel is required and familiarity with ERP software such as Viewpoint/Vista is a plus.

The ideal candidate will understand the complexities of the landscape/construction industry and have excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and proficiency in problem solving will be required in this high-volume position.

The primary responsibilities of the AP Specialist and Accounting Assistant are:

• Sort AP Mail/Inbox and enter into Vista ERP system.
• Send unapproved invoices to the appropriate person for approval.
• Code invoices to appropriate GL accounts and confirm Approver’s Codes.
• Print Open Invoice Report and assist with prioritization and payment.
• Proactively communicate with Vendors and answer inquiries.
• Send selected payments out daily and update cash reports.
• Prepare and distribute 1099’s at Year End.
• Backup for credit card calls.
• Backup for deposits.
• Assist with the development of accounting procedures and financial analysis.
• Demonstrate good judgement in the investigation of problems.
• Consistently show the ability to recognize and deal with priorities.
