$700mln rapidly growing healthcare company targeting an AP Manager to join our team!
Role is on-site Culver City for 2-4 months then onsite Montebello.
Compensation is $100k-$110k
Environment is fast paced- we are going through a HUGE growth stage so need individuals with strong work ethic, comfortable with overtime.
Primary Purpose of the Position: Manager of Accounts Payable manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the AP department by overseeing the preparation, analysis and organization of AP function. The position is also responsible for managing staff, ensure timeliness and accuracy of payments, and other duties assigned by the Director and Controller.
Essential Duties of the Position:
· Manages daily employee activities including determining specific work assignments; and monitoring individual staff productivity as well as performance
· Trains employees on policies and procedures related to AP function.
· Hire and termination of staff
· Oversee a team of 5-10 staff members
· Maintains strictest confidentiality.
Support Functions:
· Manages all activities in the accounts payable function.
· Ensures timely submission of reports to treasury.
· Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense reports.
· Maintains accurate records of payments and invoices.
· Reviews accounts payable register to ensure accuracy and perform reconciliation on a monthly basis.
· Ensures that AP processes are performed by staff.
· Establishes a comprehensive disbursement calendar to ensure payment cycles are properly followed
· Reviews and audits all check requests and seek necessary approval.
· Provides assistance to the Controller on developing and implementing specific reports and analyses.
· 1099 filings
· Process and reconcile credit card payments.
· Monitor and replenish petty cash
· Assist with onboarding of new acquisition entities
Communication Skills:
· Works closely with Controller in communicating and assessing productivity and results.
· Provides written analyses and recommendations to the Controller.

· Great Plains; Mekorma
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
· 5 or more years of AP management experience.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good presentation skills
