Responsibilities
Partnerships
- Actively engage in collaborative efforts, proactively participating with managers and team to accomplish shared objectives.
- Follow project guidelines provided by managers, seeking clarification as needed, and consistently following up.
- Support Print team leaders by anticipating needs and preparing for upcoming phases in the design process.
Processes
- Familiarity with the apparel product calendar, including internal team deadlines, to effectively meet benchmark timelines.
- Cultivate proficiency in technical platforms such as Adobe and NED.
- Facilitate team utilization of seasonal Pantone palettes by generating digital .aco files for widespread use.
- Adhere to team print package standards diligently and precisely, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all information.
- Aid in the upkeep of the print archive by scanning and saving artworks according to team standards.
CAD
- Execute impeccably clean artworks, ensuring successful execution in production outcomes.
- Digitally craft accurate redraws sourced from various references, including vintage, studio, and AI-generated images.
- Refine and create print repeats that are visually effortless, complementing the garment, while considering YY.
- Proficiently color separate artwork, optimizing colors to accommodate screen limitations while preserving intended aesthetic.
- Produce high-quality, production-ready CAD artworks, responsible for minimum of 40 per season.
Business
- Stay updated on weekly business performance and seasonal insights to identify opportunities for print improvement.
- Contribute to OB product growth by assisting with ESU, LL, and Chase print needs.
- Support IMU goals by meeting deadlines, optimizing print efficiencies, and ensuring clear mill communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in fine art, design, fashion, or relevant field preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in print design, textile design, or a related field.
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a commitment to staying updated on program developments.
- Proficiency in Pantone usage across both creative and technical platforms is essential.
- Comfortable with computer skills, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of apparel printing techniques.
- Familiarity with technical platforms such as NED and Clo are a plus.
