Job Title:Cashier/Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking a Cashier/Customer Service Assistant to join our team in the photography industry. As a Cashier/Customer Service Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout process for our clients. With a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience, you will contribute to the success of our photography studio by providing knowledgeable assistance and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Scan and bag items for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Upsell products and services to customers.
• Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
