Title: Analyst, Data Operations
Full Time
Location: Hybrid (Lincolnshire)/Remote

Summary
Nexus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Data Operations Analyst that will report to the Director of Data Analytics and Strategy. The Data Operations Analyst will evaluate and organize data and provide support to the finance, marketing and sales departments. The daily tasks are a combination of project work and operational support work.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and analyze large amounts of data, presenting findings to various levels of leadership
- Understand critical drivers of performance and create reports/dashboards to help leadership identify opportunities for improvement
- Compare and analyze transactional data to flag transactions that are missing, incomplete, or inaccurate and revise as needed
- Present findings clearly and concisely using PowerPoint, Tableau and Excel
- Use, maintain, and enhance Excel and Tableau-based analytical tools
- Maintain existing Tableau dashboards
- Handle all Salesforce.com administrative functions including user maintenance, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other tasks
- Manage Salesforce.com external vendors
- Develop regular and ad hoc analyses rooted in drawing out insights and optimization
- Work with internal teams and clients to strategize and implement analytics measurement plans
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources; work on data implementation as necessary to ensure proper data tracking and aggregation
- Provide quality assurance of data on an ongoing basis, identifying and correcting inaccuracies
- Work directly with end users in presenting analysis and reporting on ongoing initiatives
- Recognize opportunities for efficiencies in processes and work appropriately across teams to realize enhancements
- Take on additional projects and duties as assigned

Education or experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years related work experience
- BA/BS college degree in Business, IT, Data Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with Salesforce.com, SQL, Tableau, R, or Python
- Pharmaceutical experience a plus
Travel Requirements:
- 0-5% travel required for this role
- May be required to travel to Nexus office (Lincolnshire, IL) periodically
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and talking on the phone
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises
