Transact is Omnicom’s ecommerce specialty agency focused on connected commerce consulting and eRetail services. Transact coordinates and oversees delivery of connected commerce solutions that typically involve specialized contributions from several Omnicom agencies and is the guiding center of excellence for retail media practice. Transact also delivers highly tuned services that drive sales and share gains for brands on eRetail platforms like Amazon, Walmart.com, Instacart, Kroger.com, and more. Transact guides development of Omni Commerce, our bespoke set of software tools and data sources that powers ecommerce delivery for our clients.
Commerce Analyst, Transact
As a Commerce Analyst on Transact Team, you will be part of a team that supports end-to-end workflows while actively collaborating with different internal stakeholders to assess data needs.
The team's mission is to define, modernize, centralize, and steward all foundational elements of data management to enable the delivery of value-driven analytics-ready data at scale across all lines of business and ensure that our operations are efficient and effective.
The role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and to work on a wide variety of technologies, including programming, databases, cloud infrastructures, and visualization tools. You will develop deep domain expertise and generate key insights that influence business decisions and technological solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Pull campaign performance media data on a consistent basis, QAing data for accuracy and aggregating into a database.
- Analyze data using a number of different databases and marketing tools (Microsoft Azure, Power BI).
- Prepare presentations to internal and external clients on findings while telling a story rather than presenting just numbers.
- Work with members of the team and individually to develop measurement frameworks and testing strategies for upcoming campaigns/strategies.
- Understand commerce and retail media, with proven ability to deliver business outcomes through retail media formats, and shoppable formats across social and programmatic.
- Experience working with the following retail partners: Amazon, Walmart, Chewy, Petco, Citrus.
- Support development of near- and long-term plans focused on delivering sales and market share growth for a portfolio of brands and products.
- Work with cross-functional team-members, including brand strategy and investment, to ensure a connected commerce approach is deployed across all brands.
- Continuously evaluate and improve on performance, as well as help establish best practices and playbooks.
- Leverage data to drive insights, testing opportunities and ongoing media optimizations that deliver against business objectives.
- Assure quality control of all commerce media activations.
Key Qualifications and Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in the advertising or digital marketing industry.
- Holistic understanding of digital marketing ecosystem, workflow, and measurement
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency with data automation, modeling, and visualization tools.
- Experience with building and maintaining automated systems for data collection, ETL, and classification in one or more of the following: Power BI, Datorama, Looker, Tableau or others.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to clients and internal teams in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Foundational understanding of media buying, ad operations and tagging is a plus
- Experience with SQL and Python for data manipulations, data aggregations, and statistical analysis a plus.
- Previous experience running programmatic (Amazon DSP, TradeDesk, DV360), and social (e.g., Meta and Pinterest) is a plus.

Compensation Range: $85,000-$95,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
