Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst 1-5 years of financial services experience. This role involves data reconciliation, performance metric development, and process optimization within our risk management framework. You'll closely collaborate with the quantitative risk team to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

We're seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst 1-5 years of financial services experience. This role involves data reconciliation, performance metric development, and process optimization within our risk management framework. You'll closely collaborate with the quantitative risk team to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough data reconciliation to ensure integrity/accuracy and consistency across financial datasets.
- Develop performance metrics for trading activities, margin utilization, and Profit and Loss outcomes.
- Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights and generate actionable suggestions.
- Create data visualization tools using tools such as Python libraries and Power BI.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments and markets.
- Fluency in basic statistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred: Certification such as CFA or a Master's degree in a relevant field.
