We're currently looking for a Analyst 2 to join our team in Smyrna, TN.
Job Summary
Responsible for supplier performance analysis and improvement and production planning and scheduling. Works with consigned suppliers, NNA Management, and specialized groups to identify constraints within the Supply Chain and develops and oversees implementation of corrective action plans.
Job Functions

  • Reviews and analyzes supplier order receipt processing, scheduling, manufacturing, and operational processes for consigned parts.
  • Identifies constraints within the supplier process which negatively impact the on-time shipment of consigned parts requirements and works with the supplier and the related NNA departments to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Implements, coordinates and conducts training seminars for new and existing suppliers emphasizing consigned parts support requirements and supply functions including training for NNA-Smyrna (NNA-S) purchasing associates in the key areas of Supply Chain Management and inventory control functions as related to production parts procurement.
  • Determines, validates and administers penalty assessments to North American suppliers for lack of compliance with NNA consigned parts policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates with NNA purchasing to identify consistently low performing consigned parts suppliers to elevate awareness of the problem when determining retention for future business prospects.
  • Daily interface with domestic and foreign suppliers to resolve any questions about NNA orders or problems with delivery from supplier.
  • Monitor balance out and launch activities to ensure minimal obsolescence and disruption to manufacturing.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

Minimum Qualifications
Job Knowledge and Skill:
Background in parts ordering, materials planning, procurement, forecasting disciplines, DCC, and/or inventory control. Knowledge of inventory control processes and procedures preferred. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience:
Three or more years of related experience at a professional level. SCM preferred.
Supervisory Experience:
One or two years in a work leader role coordinating the work of other employees or contractors. This includes training new employees, assigning work, and checking the timeliness and quality of work. May have provided input into performance reviews. Most time work leader role would have been spent performing work similar to that performed by the people whose activities the position coordinates.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to create specialized applications or products of a highly technical nature.
Physical Requirements
Travel:
25% travel to North American based suppliers.
