Job Description:
- Take full ownership of the general ledger
- Update cash log, approve check runs, review bank reconciliation, and initiate/or approve internal transfers
- Produce financial reports and statements
- Process monthly distribution
- Reconcile inter-company balance with corporate and property management
- Prepare all tax return packages for submission to external tax consultant
- Prepare acquisition and disposition entry
- Assist Controller to establish property accounting methods and policies
- Provide accounting support and assist in updating and improving company automation systems
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Real Estate, Property Management, or Investment industry experience preferred
- CPA license or public accounting background a plus
