1 Process shipments and file customs documents in a timely manner.
2 Assist with processing of Export/ Import of air shipments for an assigned base of accounts and other duties as assigned.
3 Receive, review and process Export/ Import Air documentation. Process and follow Shipper’s Letter of Instructions accurately. Calculate and prepare Export/ Import ocean Export/ Import quotations.
4 Prepare and process delivery orders, dock receipts, warehouse work orders, ocean b/l, and all required documentation as required per shipment. Close files and distribute documents in accordance with pertinent requirements and in compliance with Export/ Import standards.
5 Prepare commercial documents and bills of ladings (master, house, direct – AWB)
6 Track and trace shipments from departure to arrival, alerting clients accordingly.
7 Adhere to company safety policies
8 Responds to orders, general customer inquiries, invoice questions and customer complaints
9 Ensure accurate and timely billing. Maintain accounting and process vendor invoices for payment.
10 Report customer complaints, determine problem, select and explain solutions, expedite corrections or adjustment, following up to ensure resolution.
11 Handle any other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager
