Job description

McEvoy Ranch is a 550-acre, family-owned working farm in Petaluma, California. Inspired by her love of Tuscan olive oil, founder Nan McEvoy imported 1,000 seedlings from Italy in 1990, determined to produce the same top-quality olive oil in the rolling hills of California's northern coast. Now, over three decades later, the ranch is known for its estate-milled extra virgin olive oils, end-of-year Olio Nuovo, and a wide range of flavored olive oils produced using the Agrumato Method. As one of the oldest olive oil ranches in California, McEvoy Ranch works to create a self-sufficient and balanced ecosystem nurtured by diverse plant and animal populations. Their orchards are tended in accordance with organic regulations, and a composting system ensures that all ranch waste products, including the spent olives, are converted into compost that then nurtures the soil. An onsite tasting room welcomes guests, offering an opportunity to sample olive oils and take in the beauty of the ranch. Tours of the property are also available, guiding visitors on a journey from the orchards to the olive oil mill. In addition to producing award-winning extra virgin olive oils, the Ranch offers small-lot wine; pantry essentials, including olive oil-based spreads, vinegar, mustard, and honey; and olive oil-based beauty products under the name ODE Olive Oil Beauty. McEvoy Ranch's full product line can be found at McEvoyRanch.com.
