RATE RANGE: $38-$40/Hour
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Import/Export Trade Compliance Administrator Level II to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's compliance with all import regulations and supporting their international trade operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and process import shipments: This includes preparing and filing import documentation, interacting with customs brokers and freight forwarders, and ensuring shipments meet all regulatory requirements.
- Provide Trade Compliance support: You will assist with customs and logistics planning for large-scale projects, demonstrations, trade shows, and other international shipments, including re-exports.
- Analyze and solve complex import challenges: You will identify issues related to import regulations, analyze data, and develop solutions to ensure smooth import processes.
- Share expertise and guidance: You will provide support and guidance to colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders on import compliance matters.
- Manage import-related projects: You will take initiative to plan, lead, and manage projects related to import compliance, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Support audits and implement corrective actions: You will assist with internal and external audits related to import compliance and help implement corrective actions to address any identified issues.
- Maintain accurate records: You will ensure accurate recordkeeping of import documentation and data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Import/Export administration, with a strong understanding of import regulations and procedures.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop solutions to import-related problems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred).
- Working knowledge of international trade regulations, such as ITAR, EAR, and U.S. Customs regulations, is a plus.
- Experience with import compliance software or related tools is preferred.
