About the Role:
The Learning and Development Training Manager facilitates a best-in-class agency education experience by delivering curriculum across various milestones of the agency journey. In this role, you will deliver Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) content (and at times in-person) that aligns with the brand vision to support entrepreneurs and their staff in their efforts to grow a thriving business and help clients future-proof their lives. In addition, you will manage the everyday duties and responsibilities of the Learning & Development training team. Role and Responsibilities:
Your role is to apply cutting edge education and training strategies to increase each student's performance, shorten learning curves, and create success within Brightway. In this role you will regularly assess student's needs, facilitate ILT workshops, and track performance. Success in this role will take the form of increased student engagement, effective delivery from the entire training team, and increased student performance following training.
  • Facilitate a blended learning experience comprised of virtual instructor led training (VILT) and in-person classroom environments using skillful application of adult learning theory
  • Report to Head of Agency Learning and Development and partner closely to ensure delivery of content aligns with corporate objectives and meets deadlines
  • Manage the Learning and Development Training Specialists and Instructional Designers to manage quality of our training program delivery and training schedules
  • Exhibit proficiency across curriculum by completing coursework, passing assessments, and effectively applying new knowledge in the classroom environment
  • Deliver training content virtually via Teams calls, Zoom calls, workshops, and webinars teaching keystone courses such as insurance sales, insurance marketing, client retention, agency operations, business planning, systems, etc.
  • Manage the training team's ability to deliver a consistent, effective, and timely onboarding experience for franchise owners and staff
  • Partner with franchise owners and staff to create agency-authored social learning content to enhance our curriculum
  • Speak at industry event on occasion such as conference breakout sessions, panels, and round-tables
  • Mentor and coach agents and staff who participate in training bootcamps or mentorship programs
  • Interact on producer forums designed to increase engagement through peer based learning
  • Help facilitate "Train the Trainer" programs designed to upskill home office employees across franchise owner facing curriculum
  • Remote position with periodic travel required to home office for company training events such as conferences, training bootcamps, and agency round tables.

Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years insurance experience in Property and Casualty (preferably at least 3 years experience in Personal Lines insurance sales)
  • Property and Casualty insurance license
  • Experience managing high performing teams effectively
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience administering and navigating Learning Management Systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (and Powerpoint)
  • Professional and engagement presence both virtual and classroom
