Position Description
The Utilization Management Coordinator optimizes reimbursement for the hospital by assuring that patients are the correct status or level of care. This role critically examines patient medical records and works with payers assuring high-quality/cost efficient medical outcomes.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license. Minimum 3 years acute care clinical nursing experience.
Preferred Requirements
Master's Degree in Nursing. 1 year(s)or more of experience in Utilization Management.
