Admissions Coordinator

Summary:

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for responding to inbound calls, web submissions, text messages and assisting with all inquiries. The coordinator is responsible for helping prospective clients navigate the beginning stages of their treatment process. The Admissions Coordinator is also responsible for the verification of insurance or payment, travel arrangements, and onsite admission oversight. Admission Coordinator will work directly with patients, families and professionals to facilitate the patient’s admission, including documentation.

Essential Job Functions:

• Answers inquiry calls efficiently and courteously.
• Appropriately documents all calls, texts, emails, web forms, etc.
• Coordinates and schedules prospective client pre-screens
• Coordinates and processes all admissions to the facility
• Responsible for obtaining demographic, financial information, and pre-assessment screening
• Works collaboratively with the clinical team, medical team, and leadership team
• Ensures the clinical and financial screening criteria have been met prior to admission.
• Maintains client confidentiality laws.
• Ensures a professional atmosphere at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety rules, guidelines & procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Must have a strong understanding of SUD and MH
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Knowledgeable of Clients Rights and treats all clients with dignity and respect in a consistent caring manner Understands the principles of addiction and psychiatric treatment
• Ability to recognize and assist in crisis situations and provide interventions based on training and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
